Compatible Refrigerators in Your Kitchen

Most of the time, we are owning refrigerators that do not suit our kitchen. We own refrigerators that are misplaced in the kitchen. In short, the type of refrigerator that you own does not belong in the kitchen.

Most of the time, I am writing objective type of articles regarding refrigerators. But now, I will draw from my own experiences as a lover of home appliances and home improvements.

When we talk of compatibility, it only means that all things work out accordingly. For an instance in the kitchen, all things should go well in order for a certain house to have a coordinated kitchen. It things are not well coordinated, it would be a disaster. Have you heard what happened lately in the Philippines? There was a bloody massacre of Hong Kong nationals because of uncoordinated communications regarding the hostage crisis. Because of the failure, some victims ended up being killed. See? That what happens to uncoordinated things. And what I have mentioned regarding a certain social issue could also be very applicable in the kitchen. A certain refrigerator brand which is not suitable for the kitchen could mess up things.

I will tell you an experience regarding this one. I am living here in New York and my friend Lisa lives miles away across the ocean or I mean seas. Lisa is a housewife living in London. The talk actually happened just through Skype after Christmas of 2009. Lisa told me her experience regarding refrigerator; to be exact, how her refrigerator mismatched in her kitchen. She insisted to tell the story for me to write about. Oh by the way, she knows that I am writing bulks of articles regarding home improvements and especially kitchen stuff.

So the story goes this way. Christmas is coming in London and the show is falling. Since she is a devoted Catholic and somewhat carrying her racial distinction. She is half Asian; her mom is a proud Filipina and her dad is a Brit, a nice combination that why the result is such a beauty. She was raised to a family that cooks a lot during Christmas. Lots and lots of food in the table is actually their distinction compared to their British neighbors.

During that time, they prepared almost ten menus. And one of the best that she prepares is the salad, a bocu salad that carries Filipino signature. They imported a lot of coconuts from the sunny island of the Philippines to prepare the salad. But then again, disaster came. Lisa has not really prepared for what is going to happen. They need to freeze the salad and it could not fit in the refrigerator since she prepared almost ten menus. The question is that, where they should put the food. If these foods that she prepared would not be refrigerated, it will get stale. In order to save some, they only refrigerated half. But then, all the food needs to be refrigerated.

Due to her creativeness, she was also able to save the food. They keep the food in her neighbors refrigerator. Later on she realized that her refrigerator does not belong in her kitchen. Right now as you read this article, Lisa has already bought new refrigerator, a bigger one. She learned her lesson. So if you cook and prepares a lot of food, buy large units.
